Moments of weakness can become a good thing…
Thirty-seven-year-old Stacey Barnell is the manager-owner of Barnell’s Sporting Goods store. She’s a businesswoman, a boss and a good friend, but finds little time for relationships and romance. Nolan Teton is a savvy fifty-four-year-old marketing sales executive at North Georgian, LLC., who’s as knowledgeable and confident as his indigenous roots are deep and mysterious. He too longs for romance in his life.
Fast forward three years… Walking along the beach, Nolan contemplates the growth of his new company while reflecting on his life. Stacey is approaching from the opposite direction, pondering her personal future and her store’s.
Passing each other, they feel a vague familiarity with one another. But that fleeting moment quickly washes away like waves upon the shore. They “bump” into each other at a local supermarket, striking up a conversation and after a short time begin dating.
But it’s not all smooth sailing ahead. People from their past seem to show up when they least expect it, creating mistrust and misunderstanding between the pair. Their own actions create stormy waters that they must navigate alone and together. Their beacon of light is the understanding between them that they need to start over again. Slowly. Can they make it work? Stacey hopes so. So does Nolan.
